Tech Talk is a comprehensive, virtual professional development conference spearheaded by CPS educators, Tech Coordinators, Google experts, SOPPA-approved vendors, and CPS thought leaders. This day-long event is designed to enhance your skills and provide valuable insights into the tech tools necessary for organization and student engagement.

The Future of Reading: How Digital Reading Impacts Student Success LIMITED

Students are headed toward a future full of digital reading. Whether we are preparing them for screen-based exams, college courses, or their career field, students must become proficient in reading on screens. However, digital reading is a skill that is not widely practiced in the classroom. In this session, we will discuss the importance of digital reading, debunk some myths, and provide you with skills that can be used in the classroom to improve students' proficiency in reading on screens. We will review how Sora can provide the perfect opportunity for students to begin to read digital texts.
