About me
David is a PD Specialist based in Chicago, IL. Prior to working at CodeHS, David spent 15 years as a high school computer science & physics teacher in the Chicago area. Before teaching, David worked in the commercial software industry as an IT consultant and software developer.
David loves working with the TEAM and helping students and teachers learn to code and implement STEM offerings. Recent projects include designing and implementing multiple maker spaces, developing an Effective Use of AI in the CS Classroom course ,and running professional development events for many teachers across the United States.
