About me
I have 15+ years of experience in the public, non-profit and private sectors in the US, India and Vietnam with a focus on project management of work impacting multiple stakeholders such as students, school-based staff, community organizations.
In my current role with Chicago Public Schools, I am a Program Director in the Talent office, and manage strategic cross-functional initiatives (previously including COVID-19 Health Screener, setting up of vaccination centers, implementing a new background check system for the district), and also serve as the Chair for the AI Subcommittee on Operational Efficiency. Previously, I led a team of six responsible for 2700+ staff at 650+ schools in a Staffing Operations manager position with the Nutrition department. I started as a Graduate Fellow in 2015 with a focus on data analytics. Outside CPS, I am a co-chair of the Women's Leadership Mentoring Program (part of the Chicago Women in Philanthropy umbrella).
Before graduating in International Development from University of Minnesota, I worked in the Corporate Citizenship team at KPMG in India. I did my Bachelor’s and Master’s in Economics. Outside of work, I created and led the mental health section for Feminism in India, an intersectional digital platform. I wrote articles, curated content, as well as interviewed people who work in the field of mental health.
