About me
Tracee Stanford is NLP’s Senior Manager of Professional Learning.
Before joining NLP in 2024, she served as a program manager at Free Spirit Media, a nonprofit youth media organization, where she led teams of media educators focused on teaching essential journalism and solutions-based storytelling skills to youth in underserved communities throughout Chicagoland.
Tracee also worked in broadcast news as a statehouse reporter covering government and politics in Springfield, Illinois. She was as a reporter and producer for Alabama Public Television and produced morning news for WSFA 12, a local news affiliate in Montgomery, Alabama.
As a high school journalism teacher within the Chicago Public Schools system, she made significant contributions to curriculum design, instructional methods and strategic partnerships.
Tracee earned her undergraduate degree in broadcast journalism from the University of Illinois at Urbana-Champaign and a master’s degree in Public Affairs Reporting from the University of Illinois, Springfield.
